Improve your quarter mile time by using Auto Specialties Performance racing pulleys. These replacement crank, alternator, and water pump pulleys turn slower than stock, and provide about 12-15 extra horses--for about 30 minutes of work. You'll also get

better mileage and increased accessory life in the bargain. The pulleys are made from either high-grade carbon steel or hard-anodized aluminum. The steel pulleys feature a black nitride finish, while the aluminum pulleys are hard-anodized in black. They come complete with mounting bolts and instructions.

ASP V6 Underdrive Pulley for 1994-1998 3.8 Mustang

Auto Specialties Performance (ASP) underdrive pulley systems increase engine horsepower by reducing the amount of power required to drive external accessories. For example, the alternator, power steering, water pump and air conditioner all rob horsepower from the engine. By replacing the factory-sized crank pulley with a resized pulley, the accessories are slowed, resulting in more horsepower available to drive the rear wheels.
